Londt Park Squash is home to many families and friends who love the game not to mention the socialising! It's membership is just shy of 500 players and is the second-largest in SA and offers; 10 well-maintained squash courts, a Pro Shop for all equipment and kit essentials as well as showering facilities. There are large open spaces for kids to play, and lastly, the Lob 'n Drop bar.

▪ Securing the perimeter of the club with boundary fencing and two motorized gates for entering and exiting the club.
▪ Plastering and painting the front walls of courts 2,3,5,7 and 10 – the alternate courts were renovated in August 2021.
▪ Sanding floors of courts 1-8 & 10.
▪ Replacing old carpets.
Long-term aspirations include:

▪ Removing the pre-fab walls of the bar area to open the bar into the hall area, making the bar larger, thereby allowing space to erect grandstands onto courts 9 and 10 for a more exciting, comfortable tournament spectator experience
▪ Building a deck outside of the hall area for more seating and entertainment space ▪ this additionally enhances the facilities in terms of hiring services
▪ Erecting two padel tennis courts with an arena in the play/grass area to bring a new, exciting, fast-growing sport alternative to the club
Facility Rentals
Londt Park offers its function hall next to the bar area as an events space for members and non-members. We have hosted meetings, fundraisers, activations, stalk and nappy parties, and many birthday parties.
Our barmen are super friendly, helpful, and accommodating; they will ensure the atmosphere is to your desire.
OUR RATES: ▪ Members: R1000 per event (12 hours) with R250 refund thereafter for zero damages. ▪ Non-members: R1500 per event (12 hours) with R250 refund thereafter for zero damages.

Londt Park boasts an impressive history of young talents who have represented the club for years and continue to hold its banner high. Here, nurturing young players and introducing new children of school-going age to the sport is of utmost importance to us.
IT has produced many junior players of provincial, national, and international standard, and is proud to host the U/13 Interprovincial Tournament annually. Having a large membership base and thus large league-playing community, junior players have endless opportunities to rub shoulders with stronger players and build their game.
The Club had the privilege of hosting the first ever OneLove Squash camp in December 2021 - This was an opportunity for school children to spend 12 hours being trained by some of the Eastern Cape's top players.
With the help of Terry Dowling & Kacey-Leigh Dodd (co-ordinators) and the coaches Tyrone Dial, Jason Le Roux, Siya Hlobi, Lukhanyo, Warren Bouwer and Hayley Ward - 40 children were fed two meals each, taught valuable lessons in the world of sport, and even had the opportunity to build their first ever Christmas tree with their friends and teammates.
Going forward there will be a OneLove Squash camp quarterly (see our 2022 calendar for the details) and we encourage you to send your child our way for a day of exciting squash, fun activities and friendship building.

A Londt Park kit collection bin sits in the pro shop for the purpose of gathering up previously-loved squash kit and equipment to distribute to our OneLove Squash players, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to play the game we all love. Please keep us in mind next time you plan on replacing your shoes!

ALL LEVEL ONE CERTIFIED.
Terry, Jacqui and Tyrone have travelled the world playing for and/or managing national squash teams each in their own right, making them an invaluable source of information and experience.
Chat to them about your squash aspirations and let them help you reach them.
Our Saturday Pitch ‘n Play sessions allow members to hop on court from 9am-12pm to socialize and have a game with whomever they want – free of charge. Members have the opportunity to play doubles, threes, or singles matches against a pool of players who show up to sweat out the week’s woes. All strengths and non-members are welcome. This has been running successfully for years and is responsible for many a great Saturday braai!

Carol has successfully run the Pro Shop for many years and is always happy to assist members in any way she can.

Our hearts hurt knowing you are no longer with us. You were a fierce friend, a customer's favourite provider, a tricky opponent, and a true sportsman. We value your many years of service to our Club and your relentless efforts to grow racket sports from the junior level and up. Thanks to you we play the games we love with all sorts of gear and equipment - every time we needed more we left your shop having had a wonderful chat and laugh. Thanks to you, runners have achieved their goals and more because of your vast knowledge of shoe wear and sports injury prevention. Thanks to you we play this wonderful game called racketball and some of our old friends have returned to play with us - we now also have new friends! Thanks to you, we could reward young players from all kinds of backgrounds who excelled at the game with sponsorships and prizes for many different events.
